We’re all wired differently. You have to find your own way. I retired nearly 30 years ago and never looked back. Worked day and night building a business, was burned out, so I sold out.
I never worked again and never had any desire to. Always found something to do I enjoyed. Yet some of my senior friends couldn’t stand being retired and went back to work.
I guess I feel more guilty about it than anything.
I left home at nineteen and worked till I was 62. The decision to retire was not a happy one but my back was giving out.
