I do not want it either but you have to admit there are aspects of single payer that are good. Those can’t be ignored or the right will lose the argument.
None of the examples that the Dems cite as countries with “single payer” have single payer health insurance.
Canadians, for example, heavily utilize the private insurance market. Many European countries have freer private insurance markets than the US.
When you write of the “aspects of single payer that are good”, do you mean the fantasy aspects of single payer, or the ones that actually exist in the US, such as Medicaid or the End Stage Renal Disease Program?
