It is not my grandmother's democratic party. And some suggest even JFK would be Republican today.

I’d say the best evidence to support that is the fact that there’s very little difference between Donald Trump’s policies and the 1996 Democratic Party Platform.

JFK would undoubtedly be a Republican today.

You are assuming JFK had principles, like he said in his speeches. In actuality, he had about as many principles as his father. Today, he'd say whatever he had to to get elected, just like his fellow Dems.
