After making 22 movies that tell one cohesive story, while grossing almost $20 billion worldwide along the way, what’s Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige doing next? The same thing all over again—with a whole new set of toys.

The April 26 release of Avengers: Endgame will bring closure to the first 11 years of Marvel Studios films. Then, in 2020, the company will start Phase Four of its Cinematic Universe, the next chapter of the larger story with new heroes, all of which will feel the impact of the events of the past. Plus, now that Disney has acquired 20th Century Fox, those stories could potentially include the X-Men. According to Feige, though, fans should not hold their breath for that.

I am probably alone here, but I did not care for black panther or Guardian of the Galaxy. I have no interest in Captain Marvel or Black Widow, so the Marvel future sounds like a yawn to me.

Burnt out on this over-played franchise...

The scene in Infinity War showing some 20 year old Wakandan female ‘genius’ making Bruce Banner look like a retard was laugh out loud stupid.

Nope, you’re not alone.

I saw 3/4 of the first Avengers, about half of the second, none of third, will see none of the fourth or any of this other phase whatever crap.

I do want to see The Joker movie though.

That Black Panther movie has to be one of the most glaring examples of the emperor’s new clothes in recent pop culture. I was thinking it had to be one of the better marvel offerings, at least. A best picture nomination? Ridiculously overrated even for what it is, at least in my book.

That pissed me off also. The premise of wakanda reminds me of “the secret life cats and dog” movie.

Which is, your cats and dogs do incredibly intelligent things when nobody is looking.

Just replace “pets” with the inhabitants of Africa, and that’s Wakanda.

Actually your not. Stan Lee has done more to destroy movies than George Lucas ever could!

After Endgame, which will be huge, the MCU will go into decline. They slowly built Iron Man into an icon and franchise leader but are just handing that role to charisma-free, toxic SJW Brie Larson. This is adopting the DC method of shortcuts instead of actual groundwork. And, Feige is fully committed to the woke af agenda school of moviemaking for this phase. It will falter and fail just as the comics have and for the same reason.

While I agree about Black Panther, I feel the opposite about Guardians of the Galaxy. To me it was some of the funniest, cleverest, well-written, visually-stunning of the Marvel series. Love Groot, love the Trash Panda, love Drax.... and the villain was outstanding, Ronan the Accuser was well-acted. GotG-2 was as good, if not a little better. Cannot wait for GotG-3.

The Iron Man installments were great. Robert Downey Jr. was brilliant casting; he portrays Tony Stark just about perfectly. Sardonic, sarcastic, witty, quick....

I agree about the scene, but on the whole, I enjoyed Infinity Wars.

Black Panther and Captain Marvel will almost certainly get sequels. Maybe a Thunderbolts movie too.

Blah blah blah you all hate marvel, you’re not interested in seeing the movies and the Marvel franchise is finished yadda yadda yadda...

Except for one little fact huge numbers of people love those movies.

And Brie Larson is young, hot, and she was great as Captain Marvel.

And there is a reason Guardians was a smash hit. Great casting, script and characters.

A word to the wise, Shazzam sucked, other than some fun in the middle it was everything that’s still wrong with the DC franchise.

Yes they are all liberals I hate it but the Marvel movies are great.

I loved IW. I won’t watch Endgame in the theater. I also liked the GOTG movies, but the way Disney played the Gunn thing was despicable. They “fired” him to keep controversy from harming the Fox deal. They let that idiot Batista go out screaming like a maniac because it helped sell the story. Then, as soon as the deal was at the point of no return, “Gunn’s back!” It was no wonder he didn’t make any noise at all about being fired. I think he’s a garbage person and wish GOTG 3 was being done by the Russos, who are hands down the best MCU directors. Hell, they put out a great Spidey twice. The solo movie was leftist trash and the sequel I won’t even see.

Agree totally on Guardians.

On Black Panther, it was sort of like a Bond film. For those offended by the fantasy version of Africa, it was so over the top as to be a bit of a parody of African stereotypes. If the movie had been made by conservatives it would have been called racist.

Wife and I think the villain would have made a better black panther. But anyway, let black kids have a Marvel franchise with characters they can look up to. It certainly promotes education and other virtues. Just imho.
