You'd think that these non-high school graduate actors might look at the current state of CGI technology and realize that their jobs are in serious peril from computerization.

I think there was a recent movie where they made old geezer actors young again, and it was seamless.

In Star Wars: Rogue One, they had a completely CGI'd version of Peter Cushing. Because the movie was set before the first Star Wars movie, Cushing's character needed to be in it, and Cushing has been dead for many years. So they CGI'd him.

"...current state of CGI technology..."

That's exactly why I don't care much for modern movies.

We've taken our family camping, rafting, rapelling and climbing. Phony movie effects are boring.

This is Angels' Landing in Zion N.P.

Young Michael Douglas has a starring role in both Ant Man movies, alongside old Michael Douglas.

Agree. I have thought for some time that todays actors will someday go the way of silent movie stars.......OBSOLETE. And it really wouldn’t break my heart either.

They’ll need to learn to code.

True - and when they look even further at the physical attractiveness of today's actors from China, Korea, and other parts of the world compared to what Hollywood allows on screen, they should be more careful about allowing the ugliness of their words to match the ugliness of their outward appearances. :)
