I really like hummous and make a sort of version of it not infrequently. Only thing I cannot handle is beans cooked with or soaked in baking soda. I cook most beans in a pressure cooker after soaking overnight and they seem to be non-gassy that way. I soak until swollen up and “alive”.

I also make a tahini sauce that is yummy on vegetables, salads, or dipping toast into.

Reposting all the cancer info I could find, so all in one comment.

Herbs and other things for treating, and some help with prevention of, Cancer. The dosage of any of these is rather subjective, depending on weight, condition and so on. Please ask if any questions and I might be able to help. I took a LOT of herbs - 1 t. or more a day of Guduchi, Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Turmeric, Vitex (Chaste Tree Berry) and Matcha for starters. I recommend powdered herbs rather than making tea. Also I can post sources

Sorry about long amazon links. There are no doubt other natural medicinals that may help with cancer; these are ones I used or know about. I think the large quantities of herbs I took before and after surgery helped my “cancer free” test 10 months after surgery.

Many of these herbs can be taken as preventatives, dose is subjective in many cases depending on health status, age, etc. If anyone has questions, just ask. If I don’t know, I will say so!

Turkey Tails - Coriolus versicolor
A tree fungus that grows mostly on dead hardwood. Used in China and Japan for cancer; strengthens immune system and has anti-cancer benefits. I used this brand, tablets are huge but I put in a cup, added about 1/3 c. hot water, it dissolved fast, and drank it. They also grow on my property but when I needed them, the gallon jar they were in was full of bugs. I am re-collecting them.

Other brand I used. I do not use herbs from China, so check sources.

Shatavari Asparagus racemosus
Immune strengthener, for conditions of debility, support during cancer treatments, especially good for breast or prostate cancer, can take long term.

Ashwaganda
Immune strengthener, conditions of debility, stress and many other benefits, can take long term

Guduchi Tinospora cordifolia
Builds immune system, clears channels, strong detoxifier without weakening the body, good support for people with cancer, broad spectrum antimicrobial, helps metabolism

Manjista Rubia cordifolia-radix
Anti-tumor both benign and cancer, clears blood of toxins, promotes circulation, promotes wound healing, anti-inflammatory, other uses as well (gall/kidney stones and more)

Neem - Azadiracta indica
Used for tumors (benign) and cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and much more

Matcha – or any green tea, matcha is the best for using as anti-cancer (recommend getting only Japanese)
Naturopath recommended, and I found matcha is stronger in the constituents said to be helpful against cancer. I found a lot of Ito En at Grocery Outlet at very good prices.
Green tea and green tea polyphenols (GTPs) are reported to inhibit carcinogenesis and malignant behavior in several diseases

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6164790/

Early clinical studies suggest that the polyphenols in tea, especially green tea, may play an important role in the prevention of cancer. Researchers also believe that polyphenols help kill cancerous cells and stop them from growing.

Ito En Matcha – plain, below is sweetened, a lot cheaper

Graviola – Annona Muricata , Soursop leaf extract
Not much info out there, but considered to have many uses, including helping growth of new healthy tissues; has helped cure very bad GERD, and much anecdotal anti-cancer evidence.

https://www.amazon.com/Organic-Graviola-Wildcrafted-Tincture-Muricata/dp/B011M542LE/ref=sw_img_trq_cart_ki8wduin_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B011M542LE&pd_rd_w=Wtulq&pf_rd_p=6a695cd0-a753-4d8e-bd93-70183f9a2b9b&pf_rd_r=D4NVKGHARYB76WM3PMAA&pd_rd_r=a4471635-9972-4dd3-8cf5-e3c0c89d2441&pd_rd_wg=hb3kI

Turmeric -
Anti-cancer, wound healing, anti-inflammatory, helps circulation and a lot more

Prunella – Self-heal, Heal-all Prunella vulgaris
Used in China against cancer, also anti-viral/anti-bacterial, high BP, fevers

Melatonin
Recommended by my Naturopath MD, not sure of dosage, considered good against cancer. I react badly to it (very rare).

Modified Citrus Pectin
Recommended by my Dr, said to help scavange cancer cells in the system and remove from the body. Especially useful around surgery, biopsy or other procedures. I used this brand, there are many others.

https://www.amazon.com/Allergy-Research-Group-Molecular-Vegetarian/dp/B000M8SL60/ref=sr_1_8?crid=1KZ0Z1U7EZ232&keywords=modified+citrus+pectin&qid=1642731886&s=hpc&sprefix=modified+citrus+pectinp%2Chpc%2C164&sr=1-8

Another brand that looks good and has useful info and reviews:
https://www.amazon.com/EcoNugenics-PectaSol-Modified-Total-Body-Optimal/dp/B0024NLDV6/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1KZ0Z1U7EZ232&keywords=modified%2Bcitrus%2Bpectin&qid=1642731886&s=hpc&sprefix=modified%2Bcitrus%2Bpectinp%2Chpc%2C164&sr=1-6&th=1

Red Clover
Traditionally used to help in cancer treatment, primarily breast cancer, and blood cleansing. I have not used but this is a good brand, or make tea and drink.

https://www.amazon.com/Planetary-Herbals-Clover-Cleanser-Tablets/dp/B004GWEDLK/ref=sr_1_37?crid=14X22W2AK6NEE&keywords=Planetary+herbs&qid=1642732694&s=hpc&sprefix=planetary+herbs%2Chpc%2C151&sr=1-37

Licorice if high BP is an issue use de-glycerized.
Helpful to protect liver during cancer chemo treatments, anti-inflammatory,anti-viral, good for hyperacidity and many other benefits

Red Root
Recommended by my Dr as the two sentinal lymph nodes had cancer in and around. Red Root is specific for cleansing the lymph nodes and system. It also helped a friend with recurring swollen lymph nodes.

Looks like a good brand:
https://www.amazon.com/Alcohol-FREE-Extract-Wildcrafted-Ceanothus-Americanus/dp/B01MU63YTJ/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=red+root+tincture&qid=1642813532&sr=8-5

Vit D3
Important immune support, with larger doses one needs to be careful about balancing.

Quercetin
I did not know about Quercetin when I had cancer, but it sounds like something to add.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4808895/

“Quercetin, a flavonoid found in fruits and vegetables, has unique biological properties that may improve mental/physical performance and reduce infection risk [1]. These properties form the basis for potential benefits to overall health and disease resistance, including anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antioxidant, and psychostimulant activities, as well as the ability to inhibit lipid peroxidation, platelet aggregation and capillary permeability, and to stimulate mitochondrial biogenesis [2]. Therefore, there is a pressing need for well-designed clinical trials to evaluate this novel dietary supplement further. This article reviews effects of quercetin on inflammation and immunity in mental and physical performance and health.”

Especially for breast cancer, the first two do more or less what Tamoxifen does, as does Shatavari (above).

Flax seeds (at least 3 T) especially used ground eaten in cottage cheese, or however one can get them down, considered a good preventive as well as for treating cancer.

Vitex/Chaste Tree Berry - helps protect and reduce lumps in breast, also generally anti-cancer.

And - good info on cancer and Ivermectin.

https://gab.com/bonafideone/posts/107668567934268859

Ivermectin, a potential anticancer drug derived from an antiparasitic drug

Ivermectin has powerful antitumor effects, including the inhibition of proliferation, metastasis, and angiogenic activity, in a variety of cancer cells. This may be related to the regulation of multiple signaling pathways by ivermectin through PAK1 kinase. On the other hand, ivermectin promotes programmed cancer cell death, including apoptosis, autophagy and pyroptosis. Ivermectin induces apoptosis and autophagy is mutually regulated. Interestingly, ivermectin can also inhibit tumor stem cells and reverse multidrug resistance and exerts the optimal effect when used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7505114/

This is another anti-parasiticide that has been used successfully when treating cancer. I do not have any personal knowledge or experience with it, but others have had.

Levamisole ... but more prominently reviewed: fenbendazole

From a FReeper:

I’m behind in the conversation so please forgive me if I am repeating anything. My cousin was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer earlier this year. Went to MD Anderson and was started on a regime of chemo and radiation. But stage 4 is pretty much a death sentence. He was not a candidate for the whipped procedure because the tumor was intwined in the blood vessels too. After several weeks of treatment, went back for a check up. While the tumor had shrunk some, the surgeon told him there was nothing more they could do and to basically go home and die. He knew a couple of friends/acquaintances that tried Joe Tippens protocol dosage for cancer. It is was he did with his battle with cancer, and is now in remission. (Several videos on YouTube.) His protocol does include Fenbendazole (used in dogs as a dewormer). After that visit, he started the protocol (using the dog form). He went in for another checkup in September and the tumor has shrunk significantly and has started to unwind from his blood vessels. His blood work also showed his cancer markers are in the normal range. As a matter of fact, his chemo doctor (not surgeon) has taken him off chemo and radiation for now. Wants to see what happens. He was told to go live his life. He is actually eating again and has put back on about 15 pounds. My cousin has not told him about what he is doing right now, but eventually will. He goes to MD Anderson for another follow up next week and we are all praying that God is still in control and healing his cancer. My cousin firmly believes parasites cause many cancers. He is a cattle rancher and exposed to many.
