LOL, I’m not much of a cook. If I didn’t have a food processor, I wouldn’t do a lot that I do.

I do cook all of my dog’s wet food and give them dry dog food on the side. My little spoiled brats get boiled grass-fed Bison and rice plus dry food that is almost $90 for a 16 pound bag. Two of them were poisoned by Nexgard about three years ago and some dog foods cause them digestive issues. I’m glad they are little and only two of them eat homemade food.

Been there and done that with both cooked and raw homemade food for my cats, usually just when one is elderly, ailing or has a special dietary need. It may be in the works again soon...

So sorry to hear your dogs were poisoned. Nexgard is an anti-parasitic thing, right? I am skittish about all such products, and hence put up with fleas instead. I wish there were a safe and natural way to get rid of those!
