What is Beta-sitosterol?
I have chronic lower back pain due to old injuries and very hard work.
What helps me is stretching, especially yoga stretches.
Beta-sitosterol is a phytosterol (plant sterol). It is a precursor to certain steroid compounds. It is found in the lipid faction of Saw Palmetto Berry, and is often used to help reduce benign prostate hypertrophy.
I suggest you investigate systemic enzymes and unprocessed shea butter. I have used both with great success for back and other injuries.
Beta-sitosterol is for enlarged prostate as men get older.
Regharding stretching, I have multiple lower back muscle injuries. I’d advise exerstretching rather than static stretching.
I see that you have had a few replies. One of my regular sources:
Beta-Sitosterol, common in plants - e.g. found in vegetable oil, nuts, avocados - being a steroid, β-sitosterol is a precursor of anabolic steroid boldenone, often abused in sports.
My point is that steroid use must be watched carefully especially by those with blood sugar problems.
