Curious question: What is the best way to store powdered herbs? Refrigerated? Room temperature? What type of container is best to best preserve freshness?
Glass jars with tight fitting lids, I use canning jars, and in a dark cool place. I have a large pantry room that I keep dark and is very cool, actually cold in winter. In the summer I put on a small A/C unit to keep it below 70. Heat, light and air are what removes the potency of herbs. In a warm or hot climate fridge is best but make sure lids are tight so no moisture gets in.
