For what it’s worth, if I hold my hand up, the thumb and little finger spread out naturally. You have to make a conscious effort to pull them together. It could just be that.

That may just be her thing. Tlaib didn't do that. Keith Ellison didn't either.
Christian Ben Carson's little finger was further out than Muslim Andre Carson's was.
For some reason, it's easy to hold three fingers closely next to each other than all four.
