It's not that Amazon pays zero tax, it's that we don't know how tax laws are written

I don't care about Jeff Bezos, he can be buried with all his money stuffed into every orifice. (Besides, you can now get free shipping from Walmart, so, ha, ha, the best revenge is living well.) I care about the Matrix involved in the tax and Federal Reserve charade. In the 1970s, I saw an author on Tony Brown's Journal who claimed that the Federal Reserve, creating monies out of nothing, maintains a farm system of which the American tax code is a subsidiary, so that the Fed loans money to the Federal Government, they pay, obviously, welfare, but tax refunds to working Americans, so that all the working stiffs, who pay 33% of their income, to the Government, to be harvested by the Fed to enrich its secret owners, can't start working for themselves until April 19 (April 23 in California). I don't even care who the Fed owners are, they can also stuff all their money, in perpetuity, I want to know, who are their high servants, who writes the arcane tax laws? (And, is it actually true, that the actual vocation with the highest suicide-rate, is actually insurance actuaries?)

I read the book years ago and I think we all know how tax laws are written. Corporate lobbyists purchase them from congress. These payoffs are how our representatives come into congress broke and leave as millionaires. See LOW IQ Maxine as an example.

Congress writes those arcane tax laws sometimes explicitly, and other times nebulously like it does a lot of things now and tells the agency involved, in this case the IRS, to figure it out. But it's Congress which is why the money flows to it.

I thought for a brief second that Ocasio-Cortez was actually going to point this out last week when she went on her "So I want to be a bad guy" line of questioning in a hearing, but she was just angling to point out another way Orange Man Bad. It would have been really useful had she done that and maybe gotten it into the mushbrains that slavishly follow her that bigger and bigger government causes these problems because the more it runs, the more people petition it in the more of oodles and oodles of cash to redress their grievances.

Corporations don’t pay taxes. They’re just expenses passed on to it’s customers-us. Hard to go to bat on their behalf.

Please, Any business can pay zero income tax, the business just has to be willing to re-invest all its profits and write it off. This is a good thing as it causes business growth and more contactors, supplier and employees paid some tax.

How many people do they employ and how much SS, Medicare and other employment taxes have they paid? - Millions and millions I’m sure.

So much BS

Corporations don’t pay taxes, they add them to the cost of their goods and services.

Just finished reading the book: The Creature from Jeckyll Island....for a second time. To put it mildly (and to keep from being banned from FR for cussing), what they did and what they’re still doing is totally and utterly disgusting. The few that belong to “The Cartel” have been raping the People (the taxpayers) for a long, long time now. The common man will NEVER be able to achieve big money. Oh, a few can make it (Bezos, Gates, Buffet, etc. ), but they are “allowed” to with certain conditions spelled out by “The Cartel”. The system is designed to keep the common working man...well...to keep him common and to keep him working to pay all those taxes. They’ll toss him a few “bones” here and there to keep him from revolting, but that’s about it.
The individual(s) who came up with the Federal Reserve (there’s nothing associated with the Federal govt) and to tax the hard-earned fruits of a working man’s labor have to have a special place in Hell.
Up till now, these evil SOBs have never had to deal with a runaway “rogue” like Donald Trump. They’re scared, really scared, and doing everything they can to remove him from power.....everything. Thus, the constant bashing, investigations, hate, etc. etc. Trump is a viable threat to tipping over their beloved “cartel” and exposing the charade for what it really is.
Politicians reap HUGE “benefits” from this Creature to keep the facade going. This has gone on for so long, that the old two-party system has now essentially become what we now call The UniParty and it’s totally “owned” by “The Cartel”. Once one becomes aware of what’s going on behind the scenes, what one sees in the everyday news becomes...well,....more meaningful, I guess. Always follow the “money trail” in everything they do. And they’re pretty subversive about things. Just look at how the income tax was originally “sold” to the People versus the grotesque outright (legalized) theft that this monster has become today. The Cartel has now expanded well beyond the borders of the USA to include the entire world via of The World Bank.
Greed is a terrible vice, but to steal from the common working man is disgusting.

You don’t even know what a write off is. But they do and they are the ones writing it off.

A fair tax, or a flat tax, would put thousands and thousands of accountants out of work. They have close ties with many politicians and business’ at all levels.
Therefore, real tax reform will not happen. Ever.
