Iran/US
Catching up on the news that POTUS stopped a military strike minutes before it was set to pull the tigger because he felt the loss of life wasn’t proportional to the loss of equipment. The target was Iranian air defense equipment/locations. Well I was on target last week saying those were the probable targets and that POTUS was going to be proportional with this response. His last minute recall was a good move IMHO because it grants his diplomatic staff to build up the resolve of supporting Gulf nations and other allies. Also, additional sanctions are being imposed. Iran responds that the only way to prevent war is to lift the sanctions.
The cyber attack apparently had some degree of success but hard to gauge. This does open the gate for more aggressive Iranian cyberattacks on us.
Iran’s military threatens more drone shoot downs as well as threatening US naval vessels. This would be a death wish as the POTUS has made it very clear - that is a red line of death for iran.
US force build up continues with the Navy reporting the USS Boxer is enroute to the Gulf.
Hindu business on line is reporting that the Shipping Corporation of India oil tanker Desh Vishal has become the first Indian-flagged crude carried to allow the Indian Navy to board the ship for escorts throughout the Persian Gulf.
Current evaluation - US and Iran are evaluating last week’s activity. While Iran got a publicity bounce from the shootdown, the event has provided more fuel for other gulf nations to be ready to push back. POTUS has the big hammer and Iran still knows it and shouldn’t see the US restraint as weakness.

New one here. Oregon senators leave the session to prevent voting on a disasterous environmental bill. Oregon Gov Brown threatens and orders state troopers to capture and return them.
This could become the first kenetic action. These senators are from very red areas of the state and local patriots are ready to defend them. This would be round three of patriots rising up. The actions of the Oregon state police in the Malhur incident is still fresh on the minds of many patriots. As the saying goes - you can vote yourself socialism but you have to shoot your way out. Keep monitoring.
Turkey/Greece
Tensions rising between these two countries as Turkey is seen as intruding on Greek territorial waters. This may be serving to deflect Turkish attentions from Erodegen’s recent elections losses.
Israel
Still preparing for potential Hezbollah/Iranian supported attacks. Any attacks would likely be in response to US strikes as any strikes by Iran (or its proxies) at this level would cross the clearly stated red line the POTUS has laid out.
Leftist/Antifa
Well school’s out and antifa is becoming more aggressive. Doxxing campaigns on Tucker Carlson and threat to new Freshmen at UT Austin are just the beginning. Major socialist democrat lead urban areas may see increasing activity as the summer progresses.
Belgium
Terrorist arrested for plot against the US embassy. As the situation with Iran continues, I expect more of these type of plots to pop up.
Lull before the next storm
Iran
POTUS increased sanctions against Iran targeting its leadership and billions in assets. Iran replied that diplomacy is no longer on the table - permanently .
According to earlier Iranian statements, they will exceed the earlier agreed to amounts of enriched uranium within the next two days. Iran has also announced that around July 7th they will start enriching to 20%. Given the participation of Iranian scientists with N. Korea and the development of their nukes, very high probability Iran has plans for a functional nuclear weapon and only needs the fissile material to complete it.
RUMINT is that Iran will start making further moves to inhibit passage through the straits. My guess it will be mines that they will deny using.
My assessment - Iran is weighing its options under the new sanctions. They can either directly strike out at US assets like they did the drone, or they could use proxy forces to step up attacks. So far, the proxy efforts haven’t been too effective imho.
Israel/Gaza
Israel has halted fuel transfers because of continued pyro-balloon attacks. This means Gaza only has a very short time before its generators shut down and the area goes dark.

Well, the republican boycott of the Oregon senate continues. None have been ‘captured’ and reports that most are holed up in Idaho (good patriot redoubt country). Oregon leftists are going certifiably nutz over this but have no path forward. The legislative session ends shortly and that will kill this unpopular bill. The only other way they could then try to pass it is to open a special session - which the republican could use the same tactics to thwart once again. Thursday there is a pro-republican rally being organized at the state capitol to provide citizen push-back against the leftists. My major concern is that antifa will show up and try to disrupt with violence. Keep a watchful eye on this potential flash point, since I’m pretty sure there will be plenty of III percenter types there ready to rumble as well.

More rhetoric. Today it is expected that Iran will exceed the limits to enriched uranium formerly agreed to.
The US Navy has rotated surface units into/out of the gulf region. The amphibious assault ship USS Boxer with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and a combat helicopter squadron arrived in the region of the Strait of Hormuz. Also deployed were the amphibious transport dock, USS John P. Murtha, and the amphibious dock landing ship, USS Harpers Ferry. They are believed to be replacing other naval assets led by the USS Kearsarge which have been in the region since April.
It has been confirmed that overnight Iran suffered severe internet degradation across the country. No report of the cause, but rumor is that it could be part of the ongoing US cyber attacks.

In large part it is trying to bully the weak kneed Europeans into violating sanctions or trying to get them to force US into issuing wavers and providing cover for the Iranian nuclear program.
Israel / Hamas
Fire balloon campaign increased against Israel. In a potentially troubling development - still unconfirmed - is that Hamas as incorporated other chemicals in their attacks. Residents report a strong odor, burning sensation in their eyes and difficulty breathing. Earlier, one of the hamas balloon units - Sons of Al-Yassin, militant group linked to Sons of Zawari - posted images and warnings of including some kind of chemical to their fire bomb balloons.
Israel/Russia/Syria
Yesterday Israel reported that GPS instruments at their Tel Aviv airport were ‘jammed’. Today claims are that this was the result of Russian units. GPS jamming of civilian aircraft is a serious business. Israel (as well as the US) relies upon GPS for advanced targeting of weapons and though jamming is anticipated in war, this is concerning.

Over the weekend
Israel/Syria/Iran
Israel launched significant strikes at numerous locations south of Damascus and Homs. Typical targets being storage locations of Iranian/Hezbollah munitions. It is being reported that it is likely that a stray Syrian anti-air missile struck a Turkish facility in N. Cyprus during the attack in Syria, killing 15. Initial reports indicate the rocket was soviet made - very possibly an S300.
Iran
Iran reported it has exceeded the limit of enriched uranium. This sets up a potential action by Israel or US to take action. Iran has stated that starting July 7 it will begin to enrich towards weapons grade uranium. Breaching the sanctioned limits only encourages increased sanctions and actions. A significant part of this is what will the EU’s response be as sanctions affect Iran’s trade with the EU and who Iran considers to be the most susceptible to its current threats and actions (blackmail). We will need to monitor international responses this week to guesstimate future actions.
Iran/US/Saudi/Straits of Hormuz
It is reported that Iranian proxy forces launched a drone attack against a Saudi oil pipeline from a location in Iraq. This has the potential to increase internal friction and conflict within Iran as Iran has used the weakened Iraq as a base of support for its Syrian operations. Potential for internal conflict by Iraq to stop it being used as a base for future attacks.
US has deployed 12 F22 fighters to the ME for support of Centcom operations. This is a substantial number of these fighters and greatly increases the offensive potential of US forces.
N Korea
POTUS impromptu meeting with Kim may or may not bear fruit is the current log jam of nuclear reduction/elimination talks. But the exploding liberal head were all over the board.
Hong Kong
Protests continued as residents continued to demand the resignation of the mainland China leadership in HK. What China’s response will be is uncertain. At the height of the earlier protests it was estimated that nearly 1/3 of the population participated. Yesterday’s protests continue the pressure against the mainland’s incremental actions to get around the agreement with the British for independent governance of HK.
US Domestic
The battle of Portland - round two - displayed the continuing increasing violent nature of antifa. Modification of tactics and weapons. More concering is the potential for more damaging devices when they try to disrupt free speech events in DC. There are posts from antifa members that they will use acid bombs (Muratic acid - basically diluted HCl - with wax) in their attacks. As evidenced in Portland, law enforcement in liberal cities will stand down and not stop antifa. DC law enforcement history against antifa is similar.
In the Sacramento area, a memorial to a recently murdered rookie officer was defaced with antifa graffiti - though local news sources refuse to recognize it as such.
ISIS
ISIS has threatened to launch terror attacks against 4th of July celebrations. Remembering the threats following 9/11, they have not panned out. Unless LEO’s and national intelligence sources have found solid evidences of a plot, my consensus is be alert, be armed and enjoy the holiday.

Speculation is that it has something to do with the Russian sub that was lost today.

Still big questions hang over the incident. Of all the scuttlebutt I’m inclined to think that there may have been a security issue at a venue in NH. Secondary would be heads up on Iranian actions.
Iran
The mullahs have announced that unless EU and US capitulate, Iran will begin to process uranium to weapons grade levels starting this weekend.
Enriching to weapons grade may be the red line that Iran crosses for Israeli action. There is reported to be increased tension in the govt in respect to a preemptive strike - something that Israel has done in the past to other countries. Of course in this instance it would unleash a rain of rockets from Hezbollah and Hamas. Since Israel’s strikes on Iran would be strategic in nature, it would leave the conventional forces free to deal with the hezzies and hamas. It is reported that Israel has plans for a very large scale ground offensive into Gaza. It has also warned Lebanon that if they permit Hezbollah to launch attacks they will suffer considerable collateral damage.
US response is not certain, but I’d bet that if Israel strikes Iranian nuclear production facilities Iran will move to close the straits of hormuz and that US forces would preemptively strike to prevent that from happening.
US may also conduct strategic strikes (cruse missiles/stealth bombers) on Iranian nuclear production and ballistic missile facilities Israel doesn’t hit - particularly the ballistic missile sites as they can be used to attack both Israel and US interests in the region.
Iranian response to any attack would be significant. In addition to its proxy groups attacking Israel and US interests, you can bet they will try to get as may missiles in the air as possible as soon as possible targeting Israel, US interests and Saudi Arabia. Iranian proxy militias in Iraq will step up attacks on US and aligned Iraqi forces. As noted above, rocket attacks from Hezbollah and Hamas would be unprecedented. Iran will use other unconventional attack methods such as cyber and terror attack across the world, targeting EU as well as American sites.
Bottom line is that this could develop into the bloodiest and most expansive bit of fighting the region has seen in a long time - exceeding the two gulf wars.
Hong Kong
China issued veiled threats against pro-democracy demonstrators following days protest involving hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong residents. Because of the treaty with Great Britain, the mainland’s hands are partially tied and short of an actual military incursion they can’t do much to affect the protests. This has embarrassed the Chinese leadership to no end - culturally and on the global stage. My thoughts are they will try to ride it out and then incrementally increase controls over the territory once again and even perhaps establish some kind of a military force to counter any future actions. However at the peak, nearly 1/3 of the population participated in just ONE protest.

Antifa
Antifa has threatened to attack a rally in DC on July 6th. The aftermath of the violence in Portland last weekend has riled up many on the right to be more proactive in responding in an eye-for-an-eye manner. If antifa does crash the DC rally and utilizes the cement “milk shakes” (utilizing the lime in them for chemical burns) in addition to acid bombs (diluted HCl with wax) and other weapons, then I expect to see things start to come unglued.
There is another rally in Portland being planned for August and those on the right are working up to it being an almost all out battle royal with antifa. This has parallels to the counter antifa battles a couple years ago in Berkley and the appearance of base stick man (and others) cleaning antifa clocks. Berkeley has been relative quiet since. However, those antifa in Portland are affiliated with a more violent association of antifa related groups.
This marks the beginning of a cycle of increasing violence and if someone doesn’t put a cap on it I fully expect to see it reaches levels where there could be gun battles in some areas/events. The vitriol will only increase as the 2020 election approaches. Blood will flow I’m afraid.

Democrats Using Same Tactics as Adolph Hitler
Over the past 90 years virtually all potential oligarchs or tyrants have utilized the following six political stratagems, that do not require armed conflict, in order to permanently obliterate any opposition. They were first employed by Adolf Hitler and documented by renowned American Psychoanalyst, Dr. Walter C Langer:
1. Keep the public in a state of constant turmoil. Pre-identify favored groups by race, economic status, ideology or religion and through constant repetition by allies in the media and entertainment cabal, establish that any perceived disadvantage within those assemblages is solely the fault of another pre-identified and isolated group, particularly Jews, traditional Christians and the capitalists.
2. Never concede that there may be some good in your political enemy. State loudly and often that they are a permanent adversary because they are determined to oppress the favored groups identified in 1) above as well as being racist, avaricious, treasonous etc. (i.e. the worst people on earth). Thus, abrogation of their free speech privileges, their right to own firearms and to freely assemble is not only acceptable but a necessity.
3. Never miss an opportunity to repeatedly and loudly blame one’s political enemy for anything that goes wrong regardless of how inane or unreasonable. Thus, faux crises must be orchestrated as often as possible in order to blame the other side. Further, any natural disaster or any aggressive action by a foreign adversary must also be attributed to one’s political adversary.
4. Never acknowledge or divulge that your side is at fault or wrong regardless of the situation or issue.
5. Never, under any circumstances, leave room for civil discourse regarding alternative societal or governmental policies by proclaiming that those promoting any alternative have a hidden treasonous agenda. Continually maintain the assertion as being irrefutable that a central government, in the hands of the enlightened, can resolve any issue and make life better.
6. Finally, always utilize the ultimate tactic in promoting dogma or denigrating one’s opponent: The Big Lie. People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if it is repeated frequently enough, people will sooner or later accept it as the truth. The fabricated dire consequences of so-called climate change; the contrived narrative of Donald Trump colluding with Russia; the myth of rampant white nationalism and the illusion that this is a virulently racist nation are recent examples of this stratagem.
Even the least politically involved Americans can see that over the past two decades, the hierarchy of the American Left and its appendages as well as many elected officials in the Democratic Party have been shamelessly utilizing all these tactics.
