I’m torn. Part of me likes the idea of the Dem establishment being blown apart by these new radicals. I want to see their power destroyed, just like they’ve destroyed the foundations of American society. On the other hand, the thought of what may arise in the aftermath scares the crap out of me. I’ve read that book and it doesn’t end well. History shows what ever rises out of a leftist revolution (and that’s what this is) is more radical and violent than what came before it.
If the Dems move further left, they’ll lose independents to the right. It’s hazardous country for them, but Bernie Sanders and AOC may represent the new Dem normal. When Marxism captured academia’s commanding heights, this became inevitable. Enjoy Trump. It won’t get any better than this.
You are correct. And you don't need to explain history or math to low IQ lazy folk - In fact you can't. You only have to tell them that everything is free if only you eliminate wealthy people. Scary part is the Districts the Dems win no matter who is running. I live in a 75% Blue District - Idiot Ocasio-Cortez would win in a cake walk. The Blue voters don’t care what Cortez or Nazi Pelosi say or do, they just pull the Dem lever.
There has never been a leftist revolution where the opposition consists of 100,000,000 patriots armed with 300,000,000 weapons and billions (if not trillions) of rounds of ammunition, and a desire to preserve the Constitution {and the idea} of The United States.
If it comes to that, we will all regret the carnage, but the left will never know how wrong they were about "Bible toten, tobaccy chewen, gun carry'en, Red-Necked racisss".
