I took a Southern Caribbean cruise in November. There were stops in Curacao and Aruba. Both are having problems with refugees fleeing Venezuela. In Curacao, they opened the "floating market" again. That's where Venezuelan fishermen and farmers sell their produce. I saw those starving, decent, hard working people. I gave one $1 for two bananas, and he insisted I take six! These are real people. Let's stop punishing governments, and start working with them. Otherwise, it only serves to create more countries which are in chaos and can't sustain their population. But it's a real good situation for corporate oil interests and those who favor cheap labor.
True conservatives would want to help those farmers and fishermen. Not make their lives even worse.

Arm them. And let the Venezuelans deal with the Commie Filth.

They voted for it - overwhelmingly.
Chavez's socialism was supposed to be great and prosperous. It was a "humane" socialism and an example for the yanquis.
You want to help these people? Let them see the true rock bottom end result of socialism so they see their folly. That's a lesson that will carry generations.
