All tyrannical regimes favor a disarmed and weak people to rule over. The democrats are just following historical precedence. Any government that feels justified in micromanaging day to day life is a tyrannical regime. That is hard to do to a free people. So when an elected official want to limit the size of soft drinks, the number of rounds a magazine can hold, force cultural changes by edict or force citizens to purchase products against their will, they are embracing tyranny. I would expect nothing less of the democrat party.
There appears to be near total resistance to the New Jersey magazine ban.
Time for the governor to put up or shut up; either unleash his flying monkeys or slink away muttering about `secondary enforcement’.
Police are rapidly losing the automatic respect they once enjoyed from the citizenry.

When you give up your ultimate, instinctual right of self preservation, Democrats then know that every other right can be stripped from you.
