Good morning!!! T’was the night before Christmas......
Are you ALL ready?
Breakfast sure looks fantastic, I can smell it all the way from the sleeper car, thanks.
We may get some moisture today, rain/snow, prefer snow.
Happy 200th Birthday to “Silent Night”!!!!
I’m baaaa—cck.
Thanks for the wishes for safe travel—they were answered. No problems.
Wildly fun time with the kids and grandkids.
We travel to NJ to be with them, as it is much easier for us to travel than for them with the little ones and the distance involved.
We purchased a ten person dinner from Boston Market so no one would have to cook or clean up. Fed us all for two days.
Our tradition is before we give gifts, we gather around and I read Luke 2:1-20 from the Bible. We started this when our kids were little, and everyone, even young and old, sits to listen. In years past, even guests were included.
After we read, I tell my family how proud I am each of them and how much my wife and I love them.
Then, it is a whirlwind of gifts, laughter, kids squealing—I just take it all in and realize how blessed I am.
Exhausting but so much fun.
Finally got caught up on the thread, and it seemed like everyone behaved, with no one waiting for bail. I am very proud of all of you.
Now, let’s have breakfast!
Good morning, lysie!
I missed your breakfasts—nothing like them on the road.
Thanks so much!
Oh boy Im glad you made pancakes! I cant make them worth a darn
