Chris Christie for Attorney General? Not a chance
vanity | Nov. 10, 2018 | By Kevin Collins

Given his history of faking one way and going another as shown in the early stages of selecting most of his nominees, it is a good bet that President Trump is not going to select Chris Christie to be the next Attorney General.

Those who remember that Trump “interviewed” Willard Romney as a potential Secretary of State will agree.

This is just how he operates.

The less Trump talks about Matt Whitaker as the new permanent Attorney General, the better chance there is that Whitaker will be the man Trump selects.

This is a very good thing.

Whitaker is a man who will not throw any curve balls at Trump nor do things Trump has to learn about in the media.

There are several good reasons why Whitaker is a good fit now as acting Attorney General and later as permanent Attorney General.

His selection as acting head of the Department of Justice will cement relations with the conservative allies Trump will need more than ever starting in January.

Given the disgusting show Democrats put on during the Kavanaugh hearings Trump is well aware that ANYBODY he sends up will be attacked by his avowed enemies in the left anyway.

He knows Matt Whitaker can take the heat.

As an insider at DoJ, Whitaker knows Robert Mueller’s weak case inside and out so giving him a position of authority – again remembering the Democrats will whine at whatever he does - Whitaker will blunt whatever flimsy attack on Trump Mueller puts together.

If there are any, Whitaker will be able to refute the “charges” Mueller can make up and refuse to act on them.

Whitaker doesn’t look like a man who is afraid of the Democrats’ battle cry of “Constitutional Crisis.”

Moreover, once the smoke clears and, as expected the Mueller probe of Russia Russia Russia is exposed as the nothingburger it most likely is, Whitaker will be just the man to signal that if Democrats continue that “investigation” (a clear majority of Americas disapprove of) leaks will be investigated.

Matt Whitaker is a seasoned professional prosecutor who has no aspirations of elected political office.

That fact frees him up to go after Hillary Clinton and those involved in the failed coup attempt we now know started even before day one of Trump’s campaign.

Whitaker is a blunt plain speaker from Iowa.

In 2016 Whitaker said, “I believe myself to have been a reasonable prosecutor, and when the facts and evidence show a criminal violation has been committed, the individuals involved should not dictate whether the case is prosecuted…”

“A reasonable prosecutor may ask, if on numerous occasions, an unknown State Department employee had taken top secret information from a secured system, emailed that information on a Gmail account, and stored the information on a personal server for years, would that individual be prosecuted? I believe they would.”

Writing in The Hill, Whitaker took strong exception to James Comey’s improper decision to recommend there be no prosecution of Hillary Clinton in spite of her many publicly exposed federal crimes.

Whitaker will take control of the evidence Jeff Sessions has but failed act on which is terribly scary news for all the right people and warm wonderful news for we conservatives.

Former NeverTrumper and former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy describes Whitaker as, “well credentialed and an excellent choice to assume the duties of attorney general.”

By selecting Whitaker,Trump has once again played three dimensional chess while Democrats insist on playing checkers.

Applicable federal law regarding “acting” appointments shows that Whitaker can serve 210 days which brings him to June 4, 2019.

That is plenty of time to get the things we want done.

Moreover, if Trump and Whitaker agree that he will stay on, Trump can nominate Matt Whitaker as the new AG.

That will keep the Democrats crazy for another year.

He was picked by Trump because Trump is not the “rich guy” from New York who figured out how to buy the presidency as the Democrats like to fool themselves into believing.

Trump is a rich guy who earned his money and toughness.

He took a small fortune given to him by his father and got wildly rich with it.

Trump is tough as nails because he learned how to survive in the very tough streets of New York City's building trade during a time when it was run by mobsters.

He wasn't afraid of them then and he is not afraid of Democrats and the media now.

When, as he has just said in yet another no holds barred impromptu press conference, he will “get to the bottom” of the criminality in our government he means it.

That is why Trump picked Matt Whitaker and why he just might appoint him as the next Attorney General.

That would keep the Democrats kavanaughing and showing America who they are right into 2020.

Christie’s record

44 democrats, in jail in ONE large sting

44 democrats arrested in the house on corruption would be yuge, think about it

This is why the democrats hate this guy, he gets results

Remember that

The Obama hug picture that you all love to post is here to separate us between a great prosecutor of democrats. The leftist/DNC/MSM plan works here, we fall for it all the time.

The DNC MSM media here ran bridgegate for 4 years strait, all over traffic at a toll plaza that always has traffic. But ignores Phil Murphy’s RapeGate, mums the word on that.

Stop falling for the MSM lies against this guy, they hate him because he is effective. And he makes leftists cry. What they did to Christie is exactly what they are doing to President Trump, because it works.

The NTBW faction of the Republican Party (Never Trumpers and bed-wetters) is not happy with Whitaker. That's a good sign.

The Wall Street Journal yesterday had a list of possible choices. One was William P. Barr, who was Attorney General for the latter part of George H. W. Bush's Presidency (1991-1993). I don't know much about Barr, but I am wary of people the establishment likes.
