Brazil just elected a President who is much like Trump.
Their last President ran on “free medical for all”.
Brazil has over 100 million people.
We have over 330 million.
Brazil is economically upside down with paying for free medical for everyone-—AND for giving the poorest a monthly stipend.
IF you keep feeding the feral cats——
you get MORE feral cats.
Does she have two working brain cells?
They mean Medicaid. Medicare costs money. They want the free option.
Brazil is a basket case, and so institutionally chaotic that it’s unlikely the new President will have any impact to speak of.
She does well representing the basement dwelling losers with low IQ’s.
Elizabeth Warren gave an equally idiotic answer to more or less the same question. She said that we could fund universal Medicare and free higher education by “making the rich pay their fair share in taxes.” Those who sat down and did the numbers have determined that her proposal would work, as long as you redefined “rich” as anyone making over 40K, and “fair share in taxes” as nearly 100% on all income above that amount.
“She genuinely believes that free medical care will have a lower aggregate cost than the current arrangements.”
There may be a degree of truth here. By the time the one size fits all single payer system authorizes any expensive procedure, a good percentage of the patients will have expired and the cost to the system is $0.
...provably didn’t vote at all
It comes from Obama’s stash.
But Obama’s stash comes from your wallet so we are good
Been looking for a new tag line. Thanks! :)
He’s another one, right?
The economics understanding of horseflies feasting on dog crap.
Unfortunately you are right.
I’m glad the Dems have made an unapologetic socialist who is also an unapologetic moron into their new “face of the party”.
That’s a point. It is not difficult to limit costs simply by not providing the service.
She’s too stupid to be an idiot.
When I used to drink I’d love to go out on a frosty cold morning, pop open a beer and take a big gulp. It was bracing to say the least. I heartily suggest it sometime.
Brooklyn’s got beer goggles if they elect this cipher.
