I’m surprised Ben would say anything like that. He’s a smart guy but I think he’s underestimated the left and I didn’t think he could.

Given the literally hundreds of fake hate crimes by liberals to try to prove conservatives are evil, we CANNOT DISMISS the possibility a liberal did this for the same reason.

One thing is real, and that is that there are pipe bombs being mailed out. Since no one has claimed responsibility, the left is laying blame at the feet of Trump and his supporters. But without proof the accusation holds no more credibility then Trump claiming the Democrats are behind the caravan. The timing is rather suspicious, especially on our side of the aisle. The reason for the two faces is that he represents fake (loyal) opposition to the establishment. He'll criticize the PC establishment on the margins, but when push comes to shove and something that actually counts comes along, he knows what side his bread is buttered on.
