Last Man Standing posted the notice on Facebook an hour ago. They have been going out of way to thank the fans for bringing back the show since summer.

I like the Ryan character in the show. Mike Baxter needs someone to be the butt of his jokes and he fits the bill. I know what his next job is in the next episode but won’t reveal.
Molly Ephraim had other obligations and decided not to return.

Such a shame...Molly was a major hit of the show. The lovable ditz with a heart of gold.
This is a terrible idea. So now everyone will watch it and the ratings will be terrible on Friday it premiers. Not a good idea for long term of the show.

Excellent! I heard that they were going to tone down the politics. I am glad they didn’t. Not yet a fan of the new Mandy, but she may grow on me. They also skipped the whole freshman (4th Class) year for Eve. Maybe so she could be home more often. I would have liked episodes of her going through basic, etc.
I wondered why they wrote out CArol Larrabee a year or so ago.

Erika Alexander (Carol) and Carla Jimenez (Blanca) had other opportunities. I think they left the door open for them to return.
I heard it was could not return..
They also aged the kid... to show some time had passed.
That’s cool. I found the episode excellent. Mandy will take some time to get used to.
