I do wonder at the “game” being played. People like Ed Whelan do not make fools of themselves, nor name people in a libelous way. That is a lot going on here. Watching.

With the yearbook in hand and archive address records, you could figure out who the 4th person (the female) at the party was!
Whelan has already backtracked on this.
There was a thread about his retraction earlier today.
Might it be possible, that neither Kavanaugh, Smyth nor Judge were there? Could it be, that she was using a memory of something she did with another group altogether and simply inserted Kavanaugh, Smyth and Judge into the story along with tweaking some of the action? Maybe she thought the story would less likely be debunked that way. One of her old friends probably knows something—maybe someone with a name that hasn’t been mentioned at all.
