Booker dramatically compared himself to Spartacus, saying he was willing to fall on his sword and be kicked out of the Senate by taking this action.

One: Spartacus died by crucifixion. Roman officers fell on their swords if they failed in their duties.

Two: Booker knew that the docs had been approved for release, so there was no possibility of action being taken against him. Pure grandstanding and false martyrdom.

“One: Spartacus died by crucifixion. Roman officers fell on their swords if they failed in their duties.”

His followers who survived the final battle were crucified.

Plutarch, Appian and Florus all claim that Spartacus died during the battle, but Appian also reports that his body was never found. Six thousand survivors of the revolt captured by the legions of Crassus were crucified, lining the Appian Way from Rome to Capua.

Interesting. I always thought that his body was never found. I could be wrong, however.
