The media is going nuts trying to use Rudy Giuliani’s “truth isn’t truth” remark on Meet the Press yesterday out of context. They hope to create a meme out of it to bludgeon Trump going forward. But noted liberal law Professor Alan Dershowitz says (3:12 mark of the video) Giuliani was absolutely right in what he said!
Dershowitz explained that what Rudy meant is that a Perjury trap is when the prosecutor has a witness to testify to something as “the truth,” that would contradict the actual truthful testimony of someone being targeted. False testimony put forward as truth isn’t truth. That is the dilemma Trump faces. Mueller has anti-Trump witnesses ready to contradict Trump no matter what he says. . . .

The very term “Postmodernism” has always struck me as academic, Orwellian news speak. I mean what can the word actually mean?
Modernism: a practice, usage, or expression peculiar to modern times
Modern: involving recent techniques, methods, or ideas : up-to-date modern methods of communication
Post: after : subsequent : later postdate
Postmodernism: of, relating to, or being an era after a modern one postmodern times a postmodern metropolis
How in the hell can something be post modern? Perhaps after the collapse of society? The zombie apocalypse? I just don’t get it.
Yes, willing to go where the evidence leads him. it often leads him to conclusions I disagree with, but he gets there honestly, and he is willing to have a civil discussion with people, whether you agree with him or not.
And on civil liberties issues, I often agree with him. Like the late Nat Hentoff, another of that rare breed.

Any rational person with a 6th grade education, who heard the beginning of the conversation, understands that Rudy was absolutely right and the idiot Fake-News drone just jumped on a piece of roadkill and tried to act as if it was steak....it’s what they do - look for even a moronic opportunity and then follow it to Hell.
