I would think that our Founders would tell us that, if, by virtue of their birth, a person is or has ever been eligible to be the head of state of another country, then that person is not a natural born citizen of the United States.

I'm sure that what they had in mind was preventing a case of divided loyalty on the part of any President.

......a citizen of another country is not a natural born citizen.

Natural born citizens have only one nationality, that’s why they are naturally citizens, they cannot be anything else.

there is no way the founders wanted a british citizen to be president. Not after the revolution and agin 1812.

Correct. Clearly Canadian. He was eligible to be prime minister of Canada.

1. Born and reared in Canada for his formative years.

2. Father was admittedly a Canadian at the time of birth. Had Rafael not become a Canadian, Ted could have sought Cuban citizenship rights through his dad.

3. Mother unavailable for comment, but registered as a Canadian citizen appearing on the Provincial Canadian voter rolls in Alberta.

Clruz met all criteria for Canadian PM until 2015, whereby Cruz finally rescinded his Canadian citizenship.
