I read an account by a German OrderPolizie who was part of one of the first Judenakton in Poland. He was assigned to take an older man into the forest and shoot him. He found that the guy was German, not Polish, and a highly decorated veteran of WW1.
Still shot him, but apparently felt a little bad about it.

I hate to say this, but the police will be the first bodies to hit the floor.

Nobody has any illusions any more that for the last 20 years law enforcement has been criminalizing normal people to generate revenue.

If they’ll arrest someone to guarantee their pensions, then shooting people isn’t that big a leap, especially since they are already overmatched in the street and afraid for their lives.

Either the police will start burning their uniforms and leaving town or they will start getting picked off.

In fact, you look at most suburbs and you’ll find two things:

1. The local police don’t tend to live in the towns they serve.
2. They pick a town and then make it easier for other LE’s to move into that town with them.

Agreed. There is a common fantasy on FR that the police and armed forces will “righteously join us” in the event of CWII.
No they won’t. They will be commanded to halt the fighting.
There would be no distinction between who is fighting whom.
Insubordination would result in them being put in prison and paychecks halted...so they will obey ANY order given to them.
