Imagine the source of pride and emotion that any patriotic American must feel when they hear the "Star Spangled Banner". Though born in England and a Canadian citizen, I somehow feel a surge of emotion when I hear it. On WSOO this morning, I heard a simple piano rendition from our American sister city in Michigan. I thought how lucky for a patriotic American.

The former president Barack Obama has completely and utterly deprived himself of a heart warming experience. Absolute pride in their country. It is he and his ilk that are the ones who are lacking.
