Everybody growing dope would cause the bottom to fall out of the price. Not much employment in that.
It would put the cartels out of business, however.
Legalizing pot isn’t about freedom or feeding the economy. It’s about tax revenue. The government makes more off cigarettes than the manufacturer and the retailer. Same with gasoline. I expect the same with weed.
Just plain no
what the H is wrong with people and their nutty ideas....
not all of us are going to get stoned like some freepers....
if this is a business model, then the model is to INCREASE BUSINESS and trick more people into "trying" this drug....
what is the matter with people?
Weed causes unemployment. For every person employed hawking weed I bet ten drop out of productivity. Unless you want more couch potatoes, dont legalize weed.
Wait, getting stoned is the solution to everything as long as the government gets a cut? So the government has become the drug pusher, oblivious to the ramifications of such a policy? That was always the policy, now it is in plain view, no longer will the state try to hide it. For the love of money is the root to all evil. I Timothy.
The writer is high. It is a Class 1 drug for a reason. People are purposely or ignorantly misleading the issue.
It hasnt worked yet in spite of all the profits staying in private hands rather than being gorges on by government.
Take a trip and never leave the farm.
Not surprised about Trinidad, Colorado- always was cutting edge, one of the first places and soon after the most popular place to go for a sex change. The people there have never been afraid to get involved in something new and they welcomed that for their economy for many years.
My aunt was a nurse in a hospital about 2 hours away and she began to hear rumors of what was going on in Trinidad after the first surgery. At first people in Trinidad and Dr. Biber tried to keep it a secret what they were doing there. Word traveled fast in the medical community though so my aunt was talking about it long before it became common knowledge. I was a sheltered ranch kid and was shocked when she was telling us about it.
That doesn't have anything really to do with this, but the sex change thing is all I can think of to this day when I hear anything about Trinidad.
Oh don’t you know that pot IS THE cure for everything. It’s the cure for drug addiction. It’s the cure for cartels. It’s the cure for border crime. It’s the cure for cancer. It saves trees. It does everything. There is NOTHING wrong with pot.
According the Devotes of the Pot Religion, anything to do with weed is Heavenly, grass actually improves driving, and by golly Its just wonderful...Praise Potty
There is a good reason why it is called “weed”. People have been planting it next to my parent’s property for so long that it comes back as a nuisance every year. My parent’s cows tromp all over it. Fortunately they do not eat it very much of the time. It makes them sick when they do.
The police used to take an interest, but since it was legalized they do not seem to care very much. Of course it encourages a bunch of nasty trespassers who leave the gates open and then the cows get out and wander onto a very busy four lane road where the traffic is typically traveling at 50 mph or more.
Marijuana is already wholesaling about 80 percent less than just three years ago due mainly to California coming in line legal for recreation
The amount of weed grown in California is astounding
Ive seen downtown LA warehouse grows with 2500 lights
And orchid farms in Carpenteria with nearly 80 acres of marijuana greenhouses next to the old standard Orchids all managed by a tulip conglomerate from Holland
If Archer Daniels or Bunge or Cargill enter the business in. Big way if the Feds go legal which they will one day I can see them growing 25 percent THCA or better strains at no more than a few bucks a pound cost
The glory days of windfall weed money are coming to a close
Having a dispensary license is the key now
Or making oils and edibles
Even in tennessee we now have CBD shops selling leaf and eerls
Marijuana will within five years be completely a state to state issue
Man when I think about how many folks did so much time for it....in some cases thirty years
Folks here can hate pot all they want and even rarionLize it to some degree
But the sentences we have handed out for smuggling were just nuts after that 1984 sentencing guidelines which took effect in 1987
I had associates from Georgia ...just country boys ....a shrimp boat load of 15,000 pounds of Colombian weed
They all did 18 years federal time with no parole
They thought it was old law which woulda been maybe 24 months at s camp
The Black Tuna gang ....so called ...preppie Jewish boys from Philly got 30 years for two freighters and their snitch embellished and got off scot free and got paid too
Where do they get their lives back while Amsterdam Tulip grows 100 million a year in weed for California dispensaries and they got 30 years for the same thing...and far less money
I dont think its a cure all and I think the strength is a mite high
Its good for pain, nausea, glaucoma, and seizures so far.....and of course getting high
I miss it...I enjoyed weed once upon a time....but I also like women and that like brought responsibility in new lives I created plus wifeys
Thus ended my hedonism
But I do miss it
Now I got drug tests for insurance and pain management etc
Lifes a bitch aint it
Btw Cargill already has a facility outside Pueblo Colorado...its a turn key faciltiy they lease out to growers....you just bring your veg
There is one caveat to industrial grows....quality control is an issue on big operations and things can go south. And kill the whole crop....mildew and mites etc and you cant just use normal gear to purge problems since folks smoke it or eat it
Especially if you advertise pure organic
High Times?
Dude! Even for you, thats amazing.
