Austin should be strictly quarantined because its socialist public policy is far deadlier than any known communicable disease. Citizenship status not withstanding, by what statutory authority can an elected City Council prohibit sworn Texas peace officers from enforcing the provisions of the Texas Penal Code? Can child sex trafficking, human smuggling, rape and murder committed by “immigrants” also be declared unenforceable in Austin?
