It’s the Seriousness of the Allegations, Stupid

"We have no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, but the seriousness of the allegations, and the weight of circumstantial information, compel an effort to establish the facts." – Reagan’s October Surprise

the answer you want dilbert

When an unsecured email server was used to handle confidential governmental communications, Comey found “no clear evidence” of Secretary Clinton’s intent to violate the law, so he concluded that “no reasonable prosecutor would have pursued charges.”

When the IG investigated the FBI, Horowitz found “no clear evidence” that the people who headed the Clinton email probe were biased despite their biased comments and therefore concluded that there was nothing a reasonable prosecutor could pursue.

I wonder if Special Counsel Mueller will apply those same standards to the facts when he wraps up the “Trump-Russia-Collusion” witch hunt. Although I guess you have to ask yourself if facts really matter when you’re looking to ensure an “unbiased” prosecution conclusion.

If there was no bias why is the FBI going to be conducting bias training?

The “seriousness of the charge” is ALL any lynch mob has ever needed to convict and pass sentence.

Facts, evidence and proof is not necessary or even allowed.

Andrew McCarthy had an excellent article yesterday Clinton Emails: What the IG Report Refuses to Admit (the Fix Was In) in which he wrote "Yet their [IG investigators] analysis left out the best intent evidence, namely, Clinton’s willful setting up of a private, non-secure server system for all official business." This was completely ignored in the IG's "investigation." It is impossible to argue "she DIDNT INTEND to break the law" in the face of that irrefutable act.

What is never investigated I saw her MOTIVE for setting up that system. It's curious why that never comes up. I believe it was set up to facilitate and cover up the entire Clinton criminal enterprise and their bribes and kickbacks from other nations. It was the essential ingredient in her pay-to-play schemes.

No one seems to be asking:

"What was Madam Hilly Benghazi's motive in setting up her 'Home Grown' server in the first place, except to hide criminal conduct?"

When America was free the accusation was not a conviction, you were innocent until proven guilty.

With the internet the accusation was the same as a conviction by the rabble.

The net effect is that American rabble dumps on the best president we have had since Dwight Eisenhower.

I believe the motive may also have been to facilitate the selling of state secrets to foreign agents. The hard part of espionage is transporting the secret material out of the secure area. Clinton automated that.

“...establish the facts” in such context is make up the facts. Lie.

I think you are right about that...all part of the Clinton pay-to-play schemes. What was exposed to the light of Day was bad enough: selling national uranium for $500,000 “speaking fees” paid to her slimeballs husband, $250,000 “speaking fees” to her. Just imagine the transactions that occurred on that server.

Good point about getting secret materials out of the secure area. Chambers’ book “Witness” discusses that a lot. Microfiche in hollowed out pumpkins on a farm! Sure a lot easier these days, especially when your own SOS is selling.

Why doesn’t the MOTIVE for her setting it up never get discussed? Something is fishy here.
