Congressional committees are warning FBI agent Peter Strzok that they are coming for him if the Justice Department wont make him available as a witness.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte said his committee will subpoena Strzok if an agreement is not reached for him to testify.
Goodlatte and House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy appeared on Fox News Special Report to discuss the findings of Inspector General Michael Horowitz report on the FBIs handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation, which was released Thursday.
Gowdy called it a dark day for the FBI and the Department of Justice after the report revealed Strzoks level of bias and animus against President Donald Trump. The South Carolina Republican called on Strzok to testify to prove that his anti-Trump bias was not a factor in his role on the Mueller probe.
Why is it our job to prove that Strzoks bias impacted his decision making? Gowdy asked Fox News host Brett Baier. I got a better idea. Strzok you come before Congress, you come before the American public and prove to us that your manifest animus toward Donald Trump did not affect your decisions.
Goodlatte noted that Republicans have been trying for quite some time to get that to happen.

They need to get a couple dozen pitchforks and torches.
Going before Congress - pointless.
I’ll settle for tar and feathers for him and his mistress.
That comes after the apprehension.
This guy should have already been taken into custody by Federal Marshals.
Why has this NOT happened?
They need to get a couple hundred pairs of nards.
Deeds, not words.
Issue subpoenas and be done with it. Put the ***hole under oath in front of tv cameras.
L
That sort of treatment is reserved for Republicans.
Another circus dog and pony show.
Charge him with crimes.
Shut up gop. This is all focused on FBI agents and NOT the criminal Hilliary C.
Evidently.
Strzok’s response: Oh, I’m so afraid I’m shaking in my boots. NOT!
Going before Congress - pointless.

Agree. “Hearings” are nothing but political theater which produce nothing of value. A monumental waste of time and taxpayer money.
A little less talk and a LOT more action is required by both congress and the president! Firing, arrest, trial and jail. This must happen or we are lost as a Country.
Deeds, not words.

Congress just talks, bloviates and postures. They love to hide behind a wall of words. Action is not their thing.
What they should hold are prosecutions, then hangings.
That, would put the fear in would be treasonous bastards.
Let him twist in the wind. IF you bring him before congress he will just lie, obfuscate and avoid the questions. Then the press will claim he was completely vindicated. That’s all these congressional hearings are used for these days.
It will produce hours of programming for cable news networks.
Hearings are tools of the Swamp. They give them a stage to grandstand, pontificate and feign outrage. Its all a show to cover the fact that congress is not doing anything about anything.
Not much Swamp draining going on these days. Just saying.
