Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood dominated the competition at Connecticut’s girls track and field state championships earlier this week. Miller took 1st place in both the 100 and 200 meter dash, while Yearwood finished second in the 100. According to News 8 in Hartford, CT, both Miller and Yearwood are transgender which has some people saying that the pair had an unfair advantage.
According to News 8, petitions have been started by some parents and student-athletes to try and change the policy that allows athletes in high schools to compete for the gender specific sport they identify with. But, the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference says in order for that to happen, state law would also need to change. The station spoke to several people who were largely in favor of allowing Miller and Yearwood to compete against the girls.
“You have some people who believe men are stronger and faster so I can understand if an athlete is born male but identifying as a female and compete as one, some females will feel a particular way about it,” Clinton Baker said.
“If she identifies as a girl then I think she should be able to run in the race because she can use the ladies room, she can wear a skirt, why not run and stay active,” Natasha Morgan said.
“The cream rises to the top,” Baker added. “Athletes now will tell you if you put UConn women on the court with men, UConn men might lose. It’s all in the spirit of competition, hard work and heart.”
Connecticut isn’t the only state in which the debate about transgender athletes in high school sports has taken place. In Texas, Mack Beggs, the two-time girls state wrestling champion, has been forced by state law to wrestle against girls despite transitioning from girl to boy because the policy there forces athletes to compete in the gender that is on their birth certificate.
It is ironic that this is a result of FEMINISM where EQUALITY is paramount. The lie of the left is that some will ALWAYS be more equal.
This is what happens when you let government bodies organize sports.
Prediction #1: Within 5-10 years you will see the end of women's sports in many high schools and colleges.
Prediction #2: Once that happens, you'll see tremendous political and legal pressure to eliminate ALL scholastic sports in the U.S.

That pretty much tells you where the two sexes stand when it comes to athletic competition.
What debate? This ‘transgender’ freak has no business whatsoever in this competition.
These women were highly skilled, but even in a non-checking league they couldn't match up with men playing half-seriously. The biggest thing (surprise) working against them was their size. They couldn't shoot the puck hard at all, and they'd lose out on almost every loose puck because it was just too easy to muscle them out of position.
That team made me proud, though. During the off-season they raised money and traveled to a national tournament of women's amateur teams. They were so used to playing against men that they were heavily penalized and got themselves a well-earned reputation for physical, borderline abusive play against other women. LOL.
Where is the word “controversial”?
The MSM loves to call everything controversial that they themselves create controversy over.
Yet when something is truly ridiculously radical and beyond the pale they abstain from admitting just how controversial and divisive their pet liberal position on an issue is.

I don’t think there will be a huge number of guys claim to be women just so they can compete against women’s teams...
1,2 or 3 here and there.... That’s about all, in my opinion....

Wait until second-tier male high school athletes start competing for women’s athletic scholarships at top Division I schools. Also, just look at the subject of this article. It only takes one male misfit to ruin a girls high school school state championship event.

A few years back the USA women’s Olympic hockey team played against a boys’ high school team. Although they played using women’s rules, they still lost.
I also like the quote that “some people” think men are stronger and faster as if that’s an idea that’s beyond the pale. I guess it might be in correctthink.
I think actual biological sex (XX vs XY) should be determined via blood test before any athletic scholarship is awarded.
Its already worse than you say right now. It will only get worse! Last year’s winner was a guy claiming to be a girl in this league. This year another guy came in and beat him.
And this is just in one league in a small state. I have seen dozens of stories like this, spreading all over the US now.
Well the one misfit ruined it last year, but he was beaten this year by another guy. So now they got 2 guys claiming to be girls in this one district in a small state. Girl’s sports are doomed.
