The “model” that Bolton was referring to worked out as well as can be expected. The later models of the folly and stupidity of regime change has cost us dearly. Egypt almost fell and Syria is still on the brink. We are still paying for the removal of the Shah.

The USA has no consistent foreign policy and can’t be trusted, prima facie, that is the problem with the 2 term Presidency and the 4 year term of office.

Libya was betrayed despite giving up it’s WMD program by the Iranian Jarrett and her Kenyan puppet Obama, with the full buy in of the arch criminal Clinton’s.

The Clintons WON the popular vote in America, it’s only by a miracle from God that those EVIL DEGENERATE MONSTERS are not in residence in the WH.

In light of this ridiculously fluid situation, Kim would be insane to give up his weapons, that’s not going to happen.

If Trump wants to be taken seriously he will clean house at home, the guy can’t even get his armed forces or Executive Branch agencies to listen to him or obey his orders, and let’s them conspire against him with impunity.

All it takes is about two dozen nuke strikes to put us back into the stone age over here, the protection afforded us by the oceans is gone.

We need a strongman to restore order before our enemies band together and eat our lunch, the nation has never been more divided, and domestic enemies operate unfettered everywhere.

As the guy with the short mustache said:

“I don’t see much future for the Americans ... it’s a decayed country. And they have their racial problem, and the problem of social inequalities ... my feelings against Americanism are feelings of hatred and deep repugnance ... everything about the behaviour of American society reveals that it’s half Judaised, and the other half negrified. How can one expect a State like that to hold together?”

Be nice to prove him wrong.

The "model" discussed here that some seem to miss, and the one I always thought Bolton reference to.

When national security adviser John Bolton first raised the "Libya model," he was not referring to the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi; he was saying North Korea would have to carry out complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization (CVID)

No, the Libyan model for removing his weapons was absolutely sound, it worked and it is exactly what is needed in order to remove ALL of NK's nuclear and IBM capabilities.

Obomination and Hildabeast betrayed the leader and broke the deal years after Libya had complied and cooperated. That has nothing to do with Ambassador Bolton or President Trump or what was being proposed and the MSM, and Bolton/Trump detractors know it.

I thought the only reason Khadaffi gave up his nuclear program was because of what happened to Saddam Hussein.

><

More reason to have left him alone after he did that. Obama’s “Arab Spring” was a total failure and wrong. Thank God the Egyptians reversed their course after Mubarak was ousted and they got rid of Obama’s buddy Morsi and replaced him with a good man el=Sisi.

The December 1989 overthrow of Ceaușescu in Romania was less catastrophic in its destruction and bloodshed but seems entirely plausible as the way that Kim gets overthrown.

The second Iraqi war tamed Qadaffi. It was said, “Yes we found the Iraqi Nuclear program, it was in Libya!”. Qadaffi giving up his nuclear program was after Saddam was pulled out of that unused septic tank. That event had an effect on Qadaffi. Over time he was actually being helpful to the West in tracking terrorism and other security matters. Then we screwed him or I should say the Zero administration did. They let Hellary have her war so she could appear more presidential. And the rest is chaos!

If Kim wanted to, Red China would squire him away in a luxury villa in the middle of their country. But he wouldn’t have power and be worshipped by 25 million people.

All too true — plus Kim would lose his teams of young women entertainers.

The one where Clinton and her friend had several Americans killed, started a civil war and a million people killed to steal some gold?

China has peasant women, or they could import Filipinas, Thais or White Russians. That’s what the bar owners do in South Korea now that their women are too hoity-toity to be bar maids.

But if we left Saddam Hussein alone, then Khadaffi would have nukes today.

I think Trump is referring to the first part where Kadaffi gave up the weapons and there was peace.

Trump is a master of hanging such things out there.
He likes to do it on Fridays too.
Hmmm, I wonder why.

Look at the discussion that this brings about.
See how it deflects back to Obama and Hillary on the political.front while still negotiating with NK.
Amazing stuff. Is it Trump brilliance, or Gods sovereignty?
I just thank God for President Trump.

I know Bolton was. Pence was not. The article claims that Trump inferred Gadaffi’s demise before Pence did.

In any case I thought it was imprudent to mention Libya at all considering 0bama’s treacherous actions.

Hussein wasn’t “stabilizing” for a looooong time. Ghaddaffi settles down after a show of what we could do...but started a WMD program of his own in no small part due to the threat of Hussein.
