"As a non-driver, I frequently rely on taxis, and I love to get the opinions of taxi drivers. I have discovered that, once they realize they have a "safe" passenger, many black male taxi drivers voice strong support for Trump.
They feel they were taken for granted and ill-served by Democrats."

I'm going to take George Thorogood's advice on this:
The head nurse spoke up,
said 'leave this one alone' ...

This is the result of one person bucking the trend? No. Many more were thinking the same but were afraid of the normal “Uncle Tom” treatment. Says something about polls.

It is extremely unfortunate that West has made some really inexcusable remarks about slavery (there was nothing voluntary about it) since he embraced President Trump. Charlotte Hays - you obviously missed the point of his comments. If slavery is still "keeping you down" 150 years after slavery was ended, you need to evaluate how much you are hurting yourself by focusing on slavery from 150 years ago.

The Trump people should take FULL advantage of this, and right now.
Opportunities like this don’t come too often and seizing the moment will pay huge political dividends, not to mention benefit the black community in a way its never been done before.
I would say Republicans in general should get on the stick, but I don’t think many in Congress have the brain power to realize how momentous this can be.
