Once a couple is married, it’s time to hold your tongue unless there are far bigger issues (addiction, abuse, and adultery come to mind as possibilities, but not much else is big enough to justify intruding on a marriage) than this letter claims.

I agree on both counts.

For me, the big takeaway is that the girl is coming from a very messed up family no matter how you look at it. Big danger sign.

This is not something to share with all of humanity. I’d be properly embarrassed for the world to know the foibles of my family.
