NEW YORK — Lawyers for President Donald Trump and his longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen went to court Friday trying to stop federal prosecutors from getting at private material — but wound up with a judge ordering them to disclose Cohen’s client list in public.
U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood on Friday ordered attorneys for Cohen to hand over a list of Cohen’s law clients and proof of their relationship by 10 a.m. Monday, so she can decide whether materials seized from Cohen’s office by federal law enforcement agents last week should be protected by attorney-client privilege.
That list will be a public record, Wood said, because the identities of an attorney’s clients are not subject to attorney-client privilege unless the mere name itself would reveal the kind of advice sought or given.
Wood’s order raises the possibility of further embarrassing disclosures involving Cohen, who is already at the center of a legal dispute involving adult-film actress Stormy Daniels, who is suing the president to void a nondisclosure agreement negotiated by Cohen concerning a sexual encounter Daniels says she had with Trump in 2006.

Then read a leak saying Mueller now has evidence that Cohen lied when he said he’d never been to Prague in his life.
I don’t agree. I don’t believe Mueller has anything of substance, so they’ve now resorted to outrageous behavior to bait the POTUS to fire him - which would unleash the media fire storm demanding that the POTUS is corrupt for doing this, obstructing justice, and MUST resign.
They WANT him to fire Mueller, it’s all they have left.

Why doesn’t the President simply neuter Mule-ears by granting a Presidental Pardon to each and every time a staff member gets in Mule-ears’ persecutorial (sic) cross-hairs?
It seems that this approach is much less problematic than firing Mule-ears outright...Especially if he backs each pardon up with an address to the nation about his reasons for issuing said pardon.

Let me understand this, Jeff Sessions has to recuse himself because he went to a party which the Russian ambassador happen to also attend. But MS WOODS who was nominated by Bill Clinton who is married to Hillary Clinton who financed the dossier which start the process leading to the special counsel which lead to the special counsel raiding Trump’s person lawyer who’s case is in MS WOODS’ court does not need to recuse herself?
That seems to be the dysfunctional world we are living in at present.
I sad several days ago that Mueller will end up questioning every cab driver who ever had President Trump in his taxi.

I think that, in spite of all of the criticism of Sessions, that President Trump and Sessions are playing this the right way. Mueller and Rosenstein have become so off the wall, so obnoxious, so far away from accepted procedures that Congress is going to stop it. That way President Trump can not be blamed for obstruction.
Don’t forget that many and maybe most congress critters are lawyers and this behavior would ruin any lawyer’s practice. They can not be happy about this, even if they are libs who cheer in public.
