John, normally your satire is really VERY obvious.

In this case -- it's 100% real/factual. It's impossible to make this crap up and have it be satire. The whole Fakebook (I refuse to use a "c" as the third letter in their name....) fiasco reveals the true purpose of "social media" and you've nailed it exactly.

I firmly believed before ever reading your post that Fakebook GAVE the Obama campaign far more data than Cambridge Analytica scraped from user accounts.

The uproar in all of this is that a Republican linked firm figured out how to do what the Obama campaign did, and used it for their own benefit. Period. Full Stop.
