So admit that one person writes a script and it is repeated on dozens of stations by dozens of individual Journelist’s all across the country. Don’t you think that is giving one person a wee bit too much power? Think of the implications.

Exactly. This is Sinclair policy. We have two Sinclair channels, NBC and CBS affiliates. Their news anchors have been delivering this script at the end of each broadcast. They are saying they wish to provide fair and balanced coverage, and solicit viewer comments. Occasionally, the Sinclair channels also have a “terrorism alert” news story that is run at the end of the local broadcast.
How many people under age 70 watch local tv news anymore?
