Amen! He always said he would take care of the military. Promise kept. On to the next fight.

At least Obama, the Prancing Pony, is no longer president. And I can still look at all those election night melt-down videos to make myself feel better.

Fixin’ to clear up this week’s business, then heading into the backyard to gas off some cheap Russian surplus.... Not in anger, just ‘cause I got plenty of it.

GOP House, GOP Senate - exactly, and that’s the problem. Trump was given a turd...if he vetoed and they overrode, then what? It still is the same and Trump looks ineffective. At least he controlled the narrative and said it’s a turd with a silver lining inasmuch as the military will be taken care of...just like he promised. Go ahead, and pout...but it’s Congress that’s the problem, here, not Trump.

Just the normal contingent of trolls and FR NeverTrumpers. Pay them no attention.

Why don't you name them, then?

You scared?

Are you very bright? Do you really think that trolls and Never Trumpers spend time reacing and posting on FR? Really?

You need to understand that many trump supporters have differences of opinions. That hardly makes them Never Trumpers. You sound like the Cult over at CTH, where any dissent, however well meaning is grounds for ridicule then banning.

"Piss off enough Conservatives, and they’ll stay home in November."

Really? Be serious. Who do conservatives have to vote for?
A Republican candidate? You've seen how they behave
once they get elected. There are very few real "conservatives" in
the US Congress.

The conservative voters won't stay home. Even with the GOPe
in Congress Trump can still get some things done.
What's needed is a real conservative party.
Let the GOPe show their Democrat Party hides and join with them.
A third party is needed to oust the corrupt Republicans from power.

Ain’t going to happen. With this win the left will begin to really rock and roll. Gun control, midterms, neutralizing Trump at every turn, and return to power.

Even deep state indictments won’t matter as trials, if any, drag on for years and Dems claim victim-hood status.

Couple this with demographic changes and the fact Trump had a very narrow electoral and negative popular margin and its game over.

I’m not staying home, but I may vote libertarian. I mean, if I’m going to waste a vote, it might as well be for someone with whom I agree.

The problem is with the Congress that wrote it.

Conservatives have been losing MANY BATTLES in the HOUSE & SENATE as well on a state level because they don’t bother to vote in the PRIMARIES. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

Haven’t had a lot of time to mull over this so this is but a first thought but:

The senate (not Senate, they’ve lost the right to the “S”) voted 65-32. House voted 75%+ for this POS. That’s not just a passage, that’s a threat: “We will easily blow by your veto.” Therefore IMO this was not a choice Trump could even make.

At this moment I put 100% blame on Ryan and McTurtle, and on each congress-swamper who voted for this.

Neither of my senators is R, that’s an easy one. Mike Bishop (RINO) voted yes; he’s not getting my vote. End of story.

No we lost the war! All the generals and most of the infantry turned on us. We need to fire all these traiters and form a new militia. I suggest it be called the Constitutional party. Furthermore anyone who voted for the budget can not actively serve.
