Here are the best responses to Phillips' question, "Do you think that is committing cultural appropriation?":
- "Uh ... what?"
- "I guess it could be perceived as that."
- "I don't like when people do it to my culture, so, it's just kind of, like, how can I say I dont like people who do it to my culture and then do it to someone else's?"
- "Uh ... hm. I honestly don't know."
- "I honestly have never even thought about it."
- "That's, like, a really touchy subject. I don't like, to, like, make an assumption about that when I'm not Irish."
- "Honestly, it might be."
- "If you're not actually, really, like, educating yourself on why it's celebrated, then it could be offensive."

“Irish were the first slaves in this country, and today we all dress up and make fun of them.”
Descendant of one here...indentured servant about 1740. Wound up marrying his masterette. Cunning family ever since.

Ha. My late Aunt was Irish complete with accent, "Dave pass me a fark." She always had a opened cake of Irish Spring in the bathroom.

I remember those commercials well.

Goodness gracious, why would any Irish be insulted when people celebrate being Irish, as it is the Irish who invite everyone to celebrate being Irish on St. Paddy’s Day. Maybe others’ should get over themselves and not only celebrate, but invite the rest of the world to celebrate too.

James O'Keefe, is that you?
(O'Keefe actually pulled this line on his school administration years ago, and they bought it.)
And thus began an illustrious career baiting the sanctimonious Left....
