I think that Sessions should fire McCabe right away. That way McCabe won’t be eligible to get a government pension right away (at age 50) but will have to wait until his normal retirement age (a long time).
However, if McCabe later FULLY cooperates with criminal investigations into the Mueller/Comey/Rosenstein/Lynch/Clinton/Holder/Obama criminal enterprises and their various co-conspirators then he can be technically “rehired” for a very short period after which he can go out on an immediate retirement.
At this point, we will be fortunate if Sessions doesn’t announce Trump’s indictment while standing next to Mueller.
Sessions is not on our side.

Right, but if he makes a false official statement, you add that to the charge sheet and throw him in jail so that he doesn’t enjoy his retirement. And you fine him so that his retirement is recovered to the US Treasury.
McCabe should fire himself and then report to Gitmo as an enemy combatant.
I generally like your concept for several reasons.
1) Robs news of the “cruel/vindictive” story line.
2) Highlighting that government employees get huge pensions starting young is always good. Delaying his pension until he hits actual retirement age like the rest of us seems like how things should be even if McCabe wasn’t a criminal.
3) McCabe is a weasel. Giving him an incentive to cooperate against others could be useful (though the incentive might taint his testimony). Aggrieving him over irrevocable loss, would make him from a menace to an active enemy.
4) It’s important that McCabe suffer SOMETHING as a signal to others. A halfway measure is more likely to happen.
There are counterarguments to everything above. McCabe’s pension is the least of our worries. He needs to be prosecuted, which ight cut off his access to the “head of security” gravy train job he is expecting to exploit.
MCCabe need to pay the price.
IMHO he committed treason, and “offenses against humanity” and should be executed as a warning to others who might consider following his work habit.
According to the guests on Hannity tonight the word is McCabe will be fired tomorrow. Maybe they can use his pension as leverage to get him to talk.
