“The Russian Investigation” from Day 1 has been (and always is) about getting Trump and/or associates on ‘obstruction of justice’ charge.
It has absolutely nothing to do with “Russians interfered 2016 election on Trump’s behalf”.
This Russia business is just something HRC pulled out of her ass. I blame the GOP for being complicit. They should have told the dims to pound sand, much like Barry told the GOP.
My question. We know that the Steel document was central for getting the FISA court to allow the wire tapping of the Trump campaign but did it play a part in the decision to appoint Muller?
Exactly what has Trey “All-Hat-No-Cattle” Gowdy accomplished during his time in Congress other that to fool people into believing that he is somehow on their side?
From what I can deduce, nothing has come of the many hearing “performances” he has conducted.
No one was referred for prosecution.
No one lost their job.
No one went to jail.
Now, despite the document at the very heart of the Russia witch-hunt being demonstrated as entirely bogus, he says the “investigation” must continue.
He can’t leave soon enough to suit me.

On the other hand, Gowdy is the only Congress Critter or person to have seen and read all of the material. What that means is unknown.
Is there some other angle that no one’s has mentioned aimed at DJT? Or is this other Russia investigation aimed at Camp Hillary and Outpost Zero?
What is plain is that ones doing all the laughing are the Russians at the Democrats for having disrupted, distracted, and otherwise belittled a sitting POTUS, his agenda, and his policies.

I get the sense that Gowdy is thinking in a narrower, legal sense as a lawyer would. HOWEVER, this Russia thing is a giant political assault on Trump and his legitimacy - we DON'T NEED any quaint, legally-correct commentary from our side. We need political warriors that will take this crap head-on!!!
The investigation can go on forever for all I care: but our tax dollars can’t be wasted on this nonsense anymore. Mueller can work for free or liberals can donate to the investigation . This is just hacks giving jobs to their hack friends
Correct. Rosenstein’s memo assigning Mueller the job of IC arguably can be construed to allow a broad inquiry in to just Russian interference (without collusion). But Mueller was clearly assigned the job of looking into collusion.
The staff he has hired does not suggest that he is looking into Russian interference generally. As another Freeper pointed out, he did not hire spooks, he hired prosecutors.
Yes, no impact on the Russia investigation because Hillary, the DNC, Fusion GPS, the DOJ, the Obama White House, Steele, et. al., need to be the parties of interest!
The IG report will do more damage to the Mueller investigation by implicating Comey in obstruction himself. His bleating about Trump obstruction was just an attempt to protect himself by making it impossible for Trump to oversee the FBI.
Think maybe that it is the dossier itself and who paid for and wrote the darned thing that Mueller is investigating?
