Special Counsel Mueller is feeling the heat right now, as he just postponed the sentencing of Michael Flynn. He has come so far only to be faced with the truth, which may be revealed possibly tomorrow with the release of the FISA MEMO.
The truth is the FISA WARRANT was obtained illegally, and it was supposed to be used on Carter Page not Michael Flynn. Obama obtained the FISA from the FISA court by telling them it would be used to spy on Carter Page, and that is what they expected. However, it was used to spy on whomever they wanted.at the time.
Mueller knows that when the FISA MEMO comes out, this will be revealed. That would mean the whole Special Counsel probe was based on false evidence or lies. And it was, and the FISA MEMO will prove it.

Is Weasel Mueller still getting IC intel on Trump?
Isn’t it classically ironic that now they want to hold off on making an example of Flynn when the worm is turning?
I doubt seriously that will happen, but if the documents show Mueller is implicated, the entire Russian collusion thing collapses
If Weasel Mueller were a “straight arrow” he’d resign for not being a straight arrow.
Mueller is a Marine. He may have been trapped by the Deep State, but he does know his duty is to country first.
Maybe it's just me being too optimistic about people in positions of power doing the right thing.
I don’t pretend to know what’s going on in this case but USUALLY when sentencing is delayed it means the defendant has decided to cooperate with the government and they are putting off sentencing until he testifies against others. The extent and success of his cooperation then become factors for the Judge to take into account at sentencing.
Fruit of the poison tree.
When the FISA memo finally comes out the Dems and their allies in the media will call it "old news", "nothing new", "misleading and out of context", "overlooking facts", etc.
GOP/WH delays in releasing the memo have bought the Dems precious time to regroup, reposition, and reload so expect a full on full on counter attack aginst the memo.
Who in the hell releases anything other than bad news on a Friday, before the Super Bowl weekend no less? Republican ineptitude on display -- again.
Peter Strzokwent before the FISA judge and swore the info was true. . Strozk gave false info to judge so everything after that is tainted. Flynn walks
Former secret service agent bongino really connected all the dots on last night’s Levin show, worth the listen if you have the time. Here is the three hour show without the commercials
Excellent show.
Mueller IS the “Insurance Policy”
Mueller is a soldier in the Deep State. If he had any integrity at all, he would have long ago shut down this biased political inquisition due to blatent conflicts of interests and falisified data.
He is also releasing a steady strem of leads to friends in the liberal media. That is no way to run an investigation.
Just look at the cabal of viscous partisans who are his close friends. That tells you everything you need to know about Mueller’s character, or lack thereof.
1. The whole FISA surveillance charade was not only compromised and tainted, but the evidence gathered in a FISA process probably can't be used in a criminal prosecution because the nature of the warrant would likely make the evidence inadmissible in court.
2. Knowing this, Mueller would have been smart enough to avoid any dealings with the FISA evidence whatsoever. He probably hasn't even seen any of it.
3. In order to pursue any of these cases, he must conduct an investigation independent of any surveillance by the U.S. intelligence agencies. That's why he had to gather his own evidence and/or use evidence that had previously been gathered by the FBI. Hence the raid on Manafort's house last year, for example.
4. When you look at #3, one of the things that stands out is that it's highly unlikely Mueller would ever be able to gather enough evidence to support serious criminal charges against most of the targets of his investigation (Gen. Mike Flynn, for example).
5. As long as Mueller follows the protocols in Items #1 through #3 above, he can always pursue any prosecution as a "clean" prosecution -- untainted by any knowledge of any malfeasance by the FBI and/or the U.S. intelligence community.
6. Here's the kicker, though ... and I've included Freeper Cboldt on this post because he's the one who found this the other night. There is an open court order in the Flynn case -- dated December 12, 2017 -- "requiring the government to produce any evidence in its possession that is favorable to the defendant and material to either the defendant's guilt or punishment."
7. Once the Nunes memo is released and the illicit FISA surveillance and the malfeasance of the FBI agents involved in the "Russia collusion" investigation are made public, Mueller can no longer ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist. He must produce this information in court and present it to the judge overseeing the case.
8. And here's where it probably closes the lid on the entire case: Michael Flynn may now be able to mount a defense against any charges related to misleading the FBI because he now has evidence that the FBI agents were not interviewing him in good faith. I'm not a lawyer, but it would seem to me that the common law doctrine of the "unclean hands" would render the FBI interview of Flynn and the associated charge against him related to that interview inoperative.
Not necessarily. In many jurisdictions you waive the right to assert a constitutional right arising out of the investigation by pleading guilty. Not sure what the state of the law is in the DC Circuit nowadays.
Flynn walks
***************
I agree. A first year lawyer fresh out of law school would be able to get him off. There is so much wrong with the Mueller “investigation” its become a complete sham.
Flynn is going to be a very rich man. He will sue the hell out of the DOJ and the Mueller investigation.
