Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6. Thats what a cop told me when i asked if using a gun was worth it to protect myself. Still the laws in my state are very restrictive. The politicians know they cannot control criminals so they restrict gun access to everyone...hoping to keep guns from the bad folks. Very ineffective in keeping guns from bad folks.

As an Algerian anti-islam pundit put it in French, if you have free speech except you cannot criticize islam, you might live in an islamic country. According to him France is de facto an islamic state. Sure they still have these laws in the books and parts where you can feel french, but he compared it to a married couple whose wife has had a secret relation with a muslim for years that everyone knows is the established relationship, only the husband is the dupe who will be last to know and be told to get over it.
Basically Europe needs to be told: “get over it, women need to wear the veil, all surrender your private properties to the state”
There is nothing more communistic and cowardly liberal than the language punishing the owner and sensible user of a gun and excusing the criminals “borrowing”, the police going back to the original owner instead.

Obviously the government of your European $Hithole would rather have you raped than anger the members of a minority that they love so much, and upon whom they depend for votes and campaign money.
You don’t count. The votes of certain people do. The politicians are fine with allowing (I meant to say allowing) them to have guns, while you don’t.

She’s concerned that she doesn’t have access to firearms to protect her against criminals when she should really be concerned about not having firearms to protect her from a tyrannical government- the same government that forces her to be a helpless victim solely dependent on the very state that won’t let her protect herself.
Even here, the police would prefer that we not defend ourselves. Just die, and let them come do the paperwork. I think the real answer for anyone who has to beat some thief or rapist into oblivion is to drag the body out to your van in the night, dump them somewhere, clean up thoroughly, and never, ever report it.
I had two thugs try to break into my motel room at 0430 a few years ago. Once they saw my Glock 23 aimed at them they decided it was a good time to beat a hasty retreat.
Makes no sense to me having police protection,but they won’t act until a crime has been committed,& yet you have no right to protect yourself??? Best to leave that screwed-up country first chance you get.
