Sending out the Navy ship did not surprise me, the son of a former president and the nephew of a long serving senator
with lots of favors to cash it.

I was not aware of no autopsy and burial at sea.
Was that just for JFK jr or all three victims.

It was not just the three victims. It was from a Navy ship sent north from Norfolk (IIRC). JFK jr was not a military veteran and should not have been granted burial at sea from a USNavy ship. It was very bizarre. I feel very sorry for the family of the two women.

Wikipedia (yeah, I know) indicates that there were autopsies on all three victims, showing that they “died upon impact”. I’m not sure if the article is correct, as I remember hearing that as soon as they recovered the bodies from the wreckage, they were immediately buried at sea.
