As I said previously, I wouldn't discount Oprah. She has strong business credentials. She took a Jerry Springer-like talk show and converted it into a substantial media empire. Howard Stern calls (called?) himself the King of all Media. Oprah could be the female equivalent...TV, movies, books, magazines. She's worth about a billion+ dollars.
Now, all that said...
I don't know if she is Chicago enough for the brass knuckles of national politics. Even if she is, there is the heretofore unspoken element - Do the Democrat Overlords, e.g., Hillary, Uncle Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Sherrod Brown, Deval Patrick, Sen. Warren, blah blah blah, WANT Oprah as the nominee? Dem Deep Staters may not be so hip with her at the helm.
Obviously, on the issues she'd be a disaster. And it's possible she may not want the likes of 4chan and FR looking into her 4th grade proclivities. 2020 is a long way off...a lotta dirt can come to the surface (look at the pics on this thread...and that's only after 24 hours!).
But I wouldn't write her off just yet.
