Nothing significantly new on the potential Iranian/Hezbolla rocket attacks.

Watch and don’t believe Debka based reports.

There are IDF units maneuvering towards n Israel/ Golan heights such as MLRS.

Options? 1. Israel could preemptively strike rocket sites
2. Reactive - Israel deals with first wave of rockets with ABM systems while targeting a massive (and i’m sure it will be massive) counter strike.

Until more - its watch and wait to see if iran/hezebolla blinks

Israeli ground exercises in northern area.
IAF jets have penetrated Lebanon airspace and jamming Syrian radar systems
IDF reports anti-missile defenses at high alert.

This morning - all eyes are watching / waiting for trump announcement on Iran.

In Lebanon, Hezbollah elements have claimed a substantial gain in the govt elections. basically Lebanon is now a proxy state of iran under the hezzies.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled Wednesday meeting with Putin to be in Israel today.

reports of an pro-Syrian (unidentified) convoy being hit near al-Kiswah. there is reportedly an Iranian base near by as well.

More reports of Syrian AAM firing at something around Damascus. Believed to be associated with the attack near al-Kiswah

Remember, it is the middle of the night in Syria so many reports are questionable.

However, it is probable now given the number of reports I’m seeing that Israel struck a target in Syria.

Pending confirmation - reports that IDF is starting to call up reserves/guard units. Not a good sign.

Confirmed, Israeli airstrikes targeted an Iranian convoy around Damascus, possibility of Iranian causalities.

If this is the case, probably destined for Hezbollah minions in either Syria or Lebanon

Reuters is now reporting that the Israeli military says it is mobilizing limited reserve forces ‘as required’.

Well another round of Syrian SAMS are being fired at targets south of Damascus.

Looks like this will be a long night over there.

New reports pending more confirmation is that the alert level in hospitals and other medical facilities in northern Israel has been raised to Level C which is considered the highest.

Israel is taking Iranian threats seriously and appears to be posturing itself to respond both defensively and offensively.

Wrap up for now

It appears that Israel executed on targetable intelligence of Iranian munitions transport - most likely to the Hezbollah. this is similar to a pattern seen the past couple strikes - hitting munitions that could be used against it.

Strikes like this, IMHO, can keep Iranian/Hezbollah planners jumping and off balance, deterring the expected rocket attack. But I doubt this dance can keep on indefinitely, but I think Israel is trying to create a situation where iran/Hezbollah cannot efficiently orchestrate its attack in a coordinated manner, opening them up for a devastating Israeli counter strike. Only time will tell and the clock is ticking.

Indicators are quiet in Israel today. As I mentioned earlier, these attacks must be driving iran nutz. it shows that their OPSEC sucks and that Israel has the capability to respond quickly to actionable intelligence. this will greatly complicate any rocket attack which will need a degree of secrecy to get off the first salvos before IAF retaliation.

Following yesterday’s actions, Netanyahu changed plans again and met with Putin today. Probably indicates a short term confidence that iran will not play - yet.
