Same here. No way would I be part of the insanity of commercial flying.
I cut out about 80% of my air travel after 9/11 by just making the decision to drive wherever I needed to go within the state of Texas.
Over the last 2 years, the only places I’ve flown have been to Vegas a few times, and to Miami and New York City for vacations. If I never boarded another plane, I’d die a happy man.
