You sound like you’ve bought into the Rush Limbaugh propaganda which warns against believing anything other than mainstream news. Or something that started years before Rush.
Many times over the years, Rush has commented that he doesn’t believe “conspiracies.” He elaborates, mentioning rothchilds, cfr, bilderberg. The false label of “conspiracy nut” was disseminated by the conspirators after they conspired in the JFK assassination.
Meanwhile, we find out from CIA documents there were at least two gunmen.
The concept of “conspiracy” is used every day in U.S. courts of law.

Q made Next Generation almost watchable. I really hated all of the psychobabble on that show. Voyager and Deep Space 9 were almost as bad. The original series was OK, but within the context of the era (1960’s). It was one of my favorites growing up. I could get behind Enterprise. They actually took the time to try to develop those characters. They weren’t entirely successful, but at least they tried.
The chance that it’s coincidence can be mathematically determined.
I don’t have that number, but I would estimate it to be less than 5%, possibly far less.
