When Roy Moore decided that traveling to Philadelphia — TO WATCH A STUPID FOOTBALL GAME — the weekend before the biggest election of his political career was more important than hitting the campaign trail in Alabama, he turned his back on his own supporters. I’d also suggest that in doing this he also ripped off all the people who contributed to his campaign thinking he took his candidacy seriously.
