Isn’t it funny that every action movie in the last 20 years shows the strong female kicking all the male butt all over the place? And female FBI agents trained at Quantico couldn’t fight back?
Give me a break. Doesn’t pass the smell test, does it?
I'm thinking (a) make the accusation against some political appointee from the previous administration, (b) after an "internal investigation," the determination is that "the system failed this poor special agent, then (c) the "internal investigation" dragged on so long that the statute of limitations has run out, so the perp doesn't get prosecuted, but in the meantime (d) the poor abused special agent gets an administrative settlement that amounts to two or three times her regular Government gold-plated retirement packages, and she decides to hang up her badge and head to a more sunny climate.
Meantime the perp is enjoying his gold-plated retirement package, so everyone is happy.
Multiply this by a few thousand, in the FBI alone.
I admit to not watching Bishop “in action” after her first actions resulted in the deaths of fellow agents, but my recollection is that post-Bellisario NCIS and Mindy’s husband have worked hard to neutralize or kill off the strong female characters and geld the major male ones.
